PAIN is a cruel companion. Treat this card before someone can play an Episode on it and gleefully throw away three of your cards.

PAIN KILLER ADDICTION, ironically, is similar to PAIN — an Episode will cause you to lose all the drugs in your hand.

DRYMOUTH may be the most irritating of all the disorder cards. It is a side effect of ANY drug — meaning if you take any drug card, you are vulnerable to receiving DRYMOUTH. Fortunately, the Episode is rather mild and wildly unenforceable.

OXICODONE is an insidious drug, but it does help with PAIN and ANXIETY. Treat either or place this card horizontally over both disorders to show that you are treating the two with one card.

DOLOPHINE can help you with your PAINKILLER ADDICTION but it may cause a bit of IMPOTENCE.

PILOCARPINE is your best friend and your worst enemy — it'll help you with your pesky DRYMOUTH but the side effects are out of control!

The PLACEBO card can used in two ways: 1. Place it on any Disorder card to protect yourself from having an Episode of that disorder for one round.
 2. Play it at the moment someone is giving you an Episode in order to nullify the Episode — discard immediately after.

MUNCHAUSEN BY PROXY gives the inflictor the ability to give ANYONE any Disorder, despite them not taking Drugs that would cause that Disorder.

THE MEDICINE CABINET allows you to pull any card out of the discard pile.

RESTOCK allows you to shuffle the discard pile back into the draw pile AND draw up until your hand has six cards. It's great for getting some of those cards you need back in rotation. NOTE: If you're already holding six cards, you'll have to discard some before using. This card only allows you to draw until you have six cards (including the ones you already have)

HIGH TOLERANCE allows the inflictor to remove one Drug card from another player's Psyche.

Great expansion

Some card game expansions are not very good and feel a little untested or unfun to play with. This expansion is fantastic. I feel that it enhances the game in a big way, but another aspect is how much longer our games are. It has extended the length of the average game, especially with a larger group. The rules are extremely sparse, this pack only comes with a single small card that loosely explains all the new cards but does nothing to explain intricate card interactions. That being said, it is fun to respond to this by stablishing zany house rules with your friends.

I love all of the new ailments and meds but throwing in new action cards beside just the having and episode and therapy cards. Love this game.

Harder, Longer and more Chaos

This adds new action cards that increase the difficulty of the game. Making it more enjoyable to play. Please keep it mind that these cards along with the additional "illnesses and treatments" makes the game longer. If you prefer it short and simple, don't use the Booster Shot. If you want to make it harder and more chaotic then then you need the Booster Shot.

We absolutely love the Side Effects game, and this expansion was the perfect addition to make it even more fun. The cards are excellent quality, just like the original game, and the artwork is fantastic. Not a bad price for an expansion pack.Such a creative, unique, and entertaining game. We love it!

One of my all time favorite games I've purchased. The booster pack is a must if you have the original. It really adds to the fun! Highly recommend!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was a great add on to the original Side Effects game. I could not locate the booster pack at any store. I tried ordering online from the QR code but was never able to complete my purchase. So glad Amazon had this product in stock. My family could hardly wait for the arrival of the booster pack. The new added pack has been a great addition to Side Effects.
